Attack 04:26
Two years to the day that we parted ways There is no luck in my instructions; There’s no luck in What doesn’t kill you, makes you fonder Don’t apply to sons and daughters lies … and I cry What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger; But so am I ‘Attack,’ in the back of my head There’s no taking back everything that you said ‘Attack,’ in the back of my head You should have left me for dead

You better – You’d better be nice Forget her, you better not try to; Say something – keep those to yourself Say something, from the back of the “hive mind” Whatever Whatever you want So clever – pretend not to notice Say something – whatever you want One more thing: ‘nice shirt to get shot in!’ Whatever you like; Say something

In/Out 03:43
Bedtime: in and out, dreaming of end-times Free time, slipping just-in-time; This time I’m getting over it Never cared if the pieces fit Lived for, four more “What is it you’re in this for?” You for me walking out that door Head high in the go-between; swinging low as I’m coming clean Let down: melting down, riding out the come-down I’m down, feeling upside-down Tossing coins in a wishing well, forgetting what I meant to wish-you-well In/Out Head aches, earthquakes: deserving of a fair shake Handshakes never worth a fuck’s sake Standing out on a patch of sand The sinking thought, ‘this was not the plan.’ Shakey hands, shaking hands Staring at the clock hands Free-hand, gripping time-at-hand These hands are getting over worked; Monotony is never worth its perks In/Out (breathe) It’s all the same to me: “Are you in? or out?” “It’s all the same to me” Take on: Game on, lights about to come on It’s on, as the sun begins to pour-on; Glistening in a dew-kissed web, and overcome by the flow-and-ebb Nice dream: dream-team is not always the way it seems; Big dreaming of the girl-of-my-dreams You should know, you mean the world to me; Even if it doesn’t come naturally

Rumours 04:16
A college-try, as if no one else is even there You’re looking flash in a jumpsuit and that dark-brown hair A dream or a dare: it’s hard to tell or care when there’s tide among these men’s affairs Don’t you make no mistake now, Honey: I think I like what you do But let’s just keep that between me and you (and you, and you) I want you alone for just one minute And pay no mind to how anyone will spin it: Because this town is too small, everyone’s so tall and tuned-in to it all But don’t you make no mistake now, Honey: I think I like what you do But let’s just keep this between me and you (and you, and you) A summerdrink or two – curious and catalyze You posture up and make clear intentions in your eyes “Why not one more?” Down this road before, but now I’m looking for the closest door Don’t you make no mistake now, Honey I think I like what you do But let’s just keep this between me and you I knew what you would do Yeah, I knew

Turn Around 03:55
A soldier of fortune to some; Another’s reflex, beyond numb What did you think of her? Just what you think you heard A soldier of fortune to come So sit down, turn around and take a listen to the sound Come and step down, turn around and take a look at what you found Good/bad dreams are keeping you up; Next day, you come spilling your guts! Pardon my playing – it goes without saying nothing at all Good bad dreams are filling you up So step down, turn around and take a listen to the sound Come, step down, turn around and have a look at what you found Come and sit down, skip town and pour yourself another round Come and sit down, turn around and take a look at all you found

Port Said 02:11

about

recorded in winter, in North Bay, ON, Canada

BULLY is a collection of coldweather-bedroom demos, imagined under the influences of Northern Ontario’s artists, musicians, climate and upbringings. Bully, as a theme, weaves in and out of instances of physical and emotional violence, reflective of the nuances of growing up in small cities and neighbourhoods. The EP is built on dark, electric guitar-driven chord progressions, modest-but-persistent backline grooves and the additive, lush ramblings of synthesis and electronics; as a whole, Bully is an expressive delivery, in waves of shoegaze-y pop tunes that demands a second listen
